That involves everyone! In order to survive, they need to be able to breathe, for a river like the Maumee, in this case, breathing means moving within its floodplain." However, over the years, with the Corps' consent, landowners along the Maumee, in this case, have used a wide array of methods to keep the river from washing away their land or their houses. With the epic flooding now, especially all along the New Madrid,in its rivers, tributaries, levees breaching in Missouri, it shows how these rivers are desparately 'yearning to breathe free,' once again. NOW, we need to remove trees again with the "potential" to damage the levees? Ridiculous. I am really concerned about all the plantings you pictured on the river banks Sunday tagged with spray paint! WTF! Is the USACE hell bent on destroying, removing all vegetation previously growing on all banks, as well as what has just been planted?
